Compared to PSM I®, PMI-ACP® is far more well-known and covers a variety of agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, Lean, extreme programming (XP), and test-driven development (TDD). According to estimates, certified project management specialists make between 20 and 30 percent more than their non-certified counterparts.
The [Agile PMP vs. traditional PMP] certification does not exist. The optimum strategy is one in which the project manager or other project professional works to build expertise in both traditional and Agile project work. Both have tremendous professional value.
As of 2021-2022, a scrum master makes more money than a project manager. Project managers make about $103,560 a year in California. On the other side, scrum masters make $109,161 annually.
For those project managers who intend to specialize on conventional plan-driven project management, the full PMP certification is still appropriate. For someone who wants to establish an integrated Agile Project Management method, having that level of expertise in plan-driven project management should be optional.
A suggested plan for passing the test Make your first open evaluation. Read through the Scrum Handbook. Print up and study the Scum glossary. Make a mental map or summary of your own. If at all possible, retake the Open Assessment without consulting the correct/incorrect answers list or using the Scrum Guide. Practice by taking more practice exams.

What is the price of PSM II certification? PSM II is available for $250 USD.
The PSM III is not administered at a testing facility, and a friend of mine voiced concern that since it is open book, the certificate won't be as valuable.
Using sound design, engineering, and operational concepts, process safety management is created to manage the integrity of operational systems and processes handling hazardous substances.
We are left with Process Safety Information, Mechanical Integrity, and Process Hazard Analysis, which are in my opinion the three most crucial PSM components.
PSM has the drawback of not accounting for latent traits but just for observed (and observable) factors. The matching technique cannot take into consideration factors that influence treatment assignment and outcome but cannot be seen.
