
Insurance holders have the flexibility to terminate their vehicle insurance coverage at any given moment, regardless of the cause. There is no obligation to wait until the expiration of the policy term to proceed with the cancellation. This applies even if the policy has been in effect for just a brief period.
In the event that you terminate your insurance policy prior to its expiration or renewal date, your insurer will often impose a fee that constitutes a greater percentage of your annual insurance premium compared to what it would be on a per-day basis.
